Chianti Wine Tour

 

 



Chianti wine tour is designed for those who want to discover the Chianti
Classico region in the most authentic  way  and taste the best Chianti
Classico wines of the Chianti region; Chianti Classico wine is a DOCG  wine,
which  means that it is a wine controlled and guaranteed by the State and can only be produced in the specific region of Chianti Classico and  produced with a minimum of 80% Sangiovese grapes.

And between thousands of photos, a walk in a medieval village, a glass of
wine, and a typical Tuscan lunch you  will be drawn into a magical, charming wine adventure

Chianti wine tour:

  • 9.30 am Departure from Florence, the first explanations along the way,
  • Arrival at the first vineyard, where you will meet the owner or his assistant and be taken on a visit to the cellars. The whole wine making process will be explained and in season part of the talk will be directly in the vineyard. Taste different red wines including Chianti Classico, extra virgin olive oil, vinosanto, and if you like it even grappa;
  • Lunch at the winery  or in a typical a restaurant of the area with
    classic Tuscan food
  • A walk in a medieval village in the hills such as Greve in Chianti, San Donato in Poggio, Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti Gaiole in Chianti or Montefioralle.
  • After lunch we head to the second winery to experience once again the famous Chianti Classico, Supertuscans , visit the wine cellar and a walk in the vineyard.  
  • Return to Florence around 5.30pm
