From San Lorenzo Market, where we will have a fun tour inside, we go to Piazza della Repubblica, once the ancient Florence market, we proceed towards the religious centre where we can admire (external visit) the Cathedral with the imposing Brunnelleschi Dome, the Baptistery with the famous golden Heaven’s Door and the Giotto Bell Tower. We then walk through Florence medieval streets towards the Piazza della Signoria, a real and unique open-air museum with the Palazzo Vecchio, the magnificent Loggia filled with original statues and the Uffizi Square. We will discuss about some interesting stories and anecdotes about this unique gallery and we will see the old bridge from the the river bank. We then move towards the beautiful square of Santa Croce to discover why it is one of the most important churches of Florence and who is buried in it (visit inside).
