San Gimignano and Chianti tour
Chianti wine and San Gimignano wine tour, combines red and white wine, saffron, and the beautiful medieval town of San Gimignano. The town, built mainly of brick with its 14 world-famous towers, enclosed within an outer wall including five gates.
During our drive to San Gimignano, we’ll admire the gorgeous landscape with vineyards, producing the famous Vernaccia docg white wine, olive groves, cypress trees.
- After visiting the town, we will have lunch in an organic farm growing the precious saffron spice along with the famous docg white wine called Vernaccia di San Gimignano, tipical product of the San Gimignano region
- Then we will go to the Chianti region to taste the wellknown Chianti wine and you will meet the owner at the winery; here you wil be informed about all the wine making process and finally you will taste several red wines included a Supertuscan wine and of course different extra virgin olive oils.
- Return to Florence around 6pm
