Wine Tasting Florence

This course is suitable for all those who are in Florence and want to learn about wine but have only a few hours to spare. The course is modulated for beginners, but it is also interesting for those who already have good wine tasting experience. Participants will learn the techniques of tasting wine and olive oil. The aim of the course is to provide an overview of wine regions in Tuscany, including how wine is produced and the Italian rules and regulations that each winery must follow. Participants will also learn the main features of the most famous Tuscan wines. The course will be taught in a comprehensive manner with the objective of sharing the techniques and tools to analyze the wine. Participants will have the opportunity to sample at least 5 wines and extra virgin olive oils. Participants will come away with an understanding of the geographical locations of the different wines and the main features of the wines. Suitable glasses and food pairings for each different wine will be addressed.
