Castelvecchio winery in Chianti colli fiorentini

Castelvecchio farm is in San Pancrazio, in the municipality of San Casciano Val di Pesa, 20 km south of Florence in the area of Chianti Colli Fiorentini. The winery estate was founded more than half a century ago, in 1962, by Renzo Rocchi.

Today the Rocchi family is producing wine and olive oil.

The vineyards, mainly Sangiovese grapes but too Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Canaiolo Nero, Trebbiano, Merlot, and Malvasia, are at an height of 250 to 350 meters.
