San Gimignano wine tour description
Start your day in the heart of the Chianti hills, where we’ll visit a boutique family run winery known for its outstanding Chianti Classico and award winning Super Tuscans. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of their most representative reds, from elegant Sangiovese-based wines to rich, full bodied blends while learning about the traditions and winemaking techniques that make this region so iconic.
Next, we’ll continue to the San Gimignano area for a delicious farm to table lunch at a local organic winery. Each course will be thoughtfully paired with their signature white wines, including different expressions of Vernaccia di San Gimignano Tuscany’s only DOCG white wine and one of Italy’s oldest appellations. You’ll taste everything from the freshest, most mineral styles to the more complex, aged versions.
After lunch, we’ll head to the medieval town of San Gimignano itself, famous for its ancient towers, artisan shops, and postcard-perfect views. You’ll have free time to explore the historic center, visit local boutiques, and take in the charm of this UNESCO-listed gem.

Thank you
Felippo our guide was awesome. 10/10 Definitely worth every penny
Our guide Carlo was extremely informative and friendly. He got to know every one on the tour and made sure we were having a good day! Would book again next time I’m in Florence and would recommend to anyone looking to do a wine tour from Florence!
Thank you so much Carlo!
Would definitely recommend !
The wineries where beautiful with a lovely lunch included
Visiting small 3 family run wineries in Chianti with our very knowledgeable guide, Carlo who was like an old friend on the day.
The wine and food we had on the day was also amazing, only shame was that I couldn’t ship it back to Australia!
If you are looking for a good winery tour from Florence I highly suggest this one :)
They keep the group size small (HUGE plus in Florence) and the vineyards they pick are all small, family owned vineyards with some exquisite wines (see photos of the vineyards themselves). They even accommodate vegetarian and vegan diet options without compromising on any taste! Would 100% come back to do more wine tours with them!
This is a great wine tour!
The guide was great and answered all our questions along with giving us a rundown of information about wine, Italy's regulations and history on wine, etc. Very fun and good.
She is so knowledgeable and we learnt so much.
The wineries we went to were all great and we also had a lovely lunch at one of them.
This was a highlight of our trip, and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.
Tack Francesca 😊
